Expressions of Interest for CODE Round 7 Travel Grants open on Friday 24 October 2025.

Due to the shifting environment in pitching events, NZ CODE has moved focus slightly for Travel Grant Round 7 Expressions of Interest.
For this Round, CODE are particularly interested in teams considering BitSummit in Kyotō, Japan 22nd-24th May 2026 as a key event.
CODE is actively working on the logistics of a BitSummit 2026 presence, one that will showcase the best of Kiwi products seeking publisher/investor engagement and regional media and audience-building opportunities.
As such, we welcome Expressions of Interest from any Aotearoa New Zealand-based teams looking to achieve commercialisation or audience outcomes.
If you think this is you, please check the Travel Grant Guidelines, here.
For those teams interested in GDC, San Francisco in March 2026, we still encourage you to apply if you wish to go. CODE is actively engaging with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) | Te Taurapa Tūhono North American team who is providing support at this event. Please keep an eye on the evolving environment in the US, particularly when it comes to visas and non-NZ citizens.
CODE also welcomes Expressions of Interest for Round 7 Travel Grant funding to all other relevant international events.
Expressions of Interest for CODE Round 7 Travel Grant funding are open to applicants nationally across Aotearoa New Zealand for a two week period only, from Friday 24 October 2025 until 5pm Thursday 6th November 2025.
Eligible applicants invited to proceed will have a further two weeks to submit a Full Application.
Check our Funding page for more information.
