Representing Games event actively links game companies with influential industry figures, enhancing the creative potential of developers in the video games sector by closing the gaps between them and buyers.
"Pitching at an event like GDC in San Francisco differs greatly due to the sheer number of potential publishing partners or investors available to approach," says Vee Pendergrast, CODE's Industry Development Manager.
"We have a number of NZ developers currently on a launch path with their games, so securing publishers, platform deals, and industry partners is exactly what they seek."

CODE has selected eight New Zealand-made games that have the potential for market fit and are ready to pitch. Each team will have ten minutes to present a pitch deck and a playable build featuring early gameplay footage.
The pitching session has already attracted more than 50 unique companies and over 70 attendees.
