NZ's largest contingent of Kiwi games showcased at PAX Aus

With the support of our partners at NZTE (New Zealand Trade & Enterprise) and NZFC (New Zealand Film Commission), NZ CODE headed up a large contingent of Kiwis who made it across the Tasman for our Melbourne International Games Week 2023 Campaign.

This all culminated in the largest organised overseas presence for New Zealand developers ever at a consumer event:

Three agencies,

20 teams,

20 games,

Three days of PAX Australia 2023.

Our offerings consisted of everything from the telekinetic action of Denari, to the cartoon survival of Life Stars, Mars action with Red Echo, our NZ superstars Dredge, and many more.

We had an absolute blast for three days of game consumers, numerous media outlets, content creators, streamers, console platform account managers and publishers.

Steam Wishlists spiked amongst our participants and a lot of game players had a great time.

And then there was that quirky mini-golf rogue-lite that struck a fan favourite and the visual excellence of Guardian Maia.

We have seen an absolute swag of media attention at the end of it and are helping our teams with commercial follow ups and business opportunities in the aftermath. An incredibly successful campaign!
